Stake Canada Ltd. received iGaming operator registration from the AGLC on September 24 — the first of two steps toward launching a regulated sportsbook and online casino in Alberta. The company says it expects to meet the October 13 transition deadline.
Registration is not a licence yet. Stake still needs a full AGLC licence and an operating agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation before it can take bets. Watch for the launch announcement in the coming weeks.
