Privacy Policy
The House Edge is run by The Odds and Ends Dept. This page says, plainly, what happens to your information when you use thehouseedge.ca.
No accounts, no sign-ups
There is nowhere on this site to register, log in or check out. We have no member database, no purchase history and no list of who visits.
Counting visits (only with your OK)
The site is wired for Google Analytics measurement cookies so the desk can count visits and see which pages get read. Those cookies are only set if you tap Accept on the cookie banner — nothing is measured before you choose, and declining means nothing is measured at all. Your choice is stored in your own browser so we don’t ask on every visit; change it any time with in the footer of every page.
The links out
Casino names on this site link out to the operators’ official sites. Today those are plain links. As affiliate deals sign, some will become affiliate links that tell the operator the visit came from The House Edge (disclosed on the site when that happens). The moment you click through, you are on the operator’s site — their cookies, their privacy policy, their rules.
We don’t sell personal data
There is nothing to sell: no accounts, no purchase records, no email list. We do not rent, trade or sell personal information to anyone.
There is no contact form on this site. If you write to us at affiliates@thehouseedge.ca, we keep the message and your address so we can reply. Write to the same address to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted — under PIPEDA it’s yours to ask after, and we’ll answer.
